Hunger Games and Catching Fire Giveaway

It has been a long time since I posted, hasn’t it?! To get back in the blogging world without too much hesitation I decided to do a giveaway.

The giveaway is for both books, The Hunger Games and Catching Fire. I’ve read both of these books courtesy of my Mom, you’ll notice Catching Fire doesn’t release until September 1st, 2009 and Catching Fire is even autographed by the Author Suzanne Collins. In my opinion, these are both excellent reads and they are described as being plot-driven blend of suspense, science fiction, and romance.

So, if you’re interested leave me a comment (don’t forget I need a way to contact you – a valid email would be best), so as not to make it too boring, let me know the last book you read or are reading, and you’ll be entered into the drawing. Easy peasy. I’ll use Random.org to pick a winner on Monday August 24th and let the winner know via email as well as post the results here.

Happy reading!

  1. sounds like intriguing books, I am currently reading a bunch of books which I can't seem to finish – Pride and Prejudice and Jane Erye and Beauty by Susan Wilson which is a retelling of Beauty and the Beast set in modern times

    my emails at lissawrites(at)gmail(dot)com

  2. btw: I am also doing a book & movie giveaway here

  3. Hey Carrie! Won't put in a bid to get in on the book giveaway because my stacks are entirely too high–too many stops at your mom's store. I actually wanted to invite you to participate in the August 24 Fun Monday meme, which I'm hosting. The theme is "Back to School" to go along with the beginnings of the school year. The twist is that I'm asking everyone to tell us about a class they may be taking as an adult. Or, are they learning a new skill in other ways–on line, individual instruction? Also, what are you thoughts on the value of lifelong learning.

If you'd like to participate just pop over to my place and sign up. Are you watching the season opener of Project Runway tonight? Finally!

I've actually been curious about Hunger Games because I've heard so much about the book. The last book I read was My Soul to Take, and now I'm actually reading The Hobbit, which has been on my to-read list literally for years. :D

  5. Lol Catching IS the last book I read, but I had to borrow it from my friend, I dont have my own copy.

    I'ld like to enter :)
