Mixtape Mike, Serial Sue, Just Skinny, Sweetly Broken, Amatic SC, CK Ali’s Hand, Garden, Jane Austen, Indie Star BB, Hyrule
I love using fonts that look like you scratched them out on a piece a paper. I just found Mixtape Mike today and I have a feeling that font author is (quite successfully) going to capitalize on the Magic Mike frenzy that’ll be hitting us at the end of this week.
(Are you going to see Magic Mike on Friday?)

Thanks for the tip on the fonts. My favorite is sweetly broken.

sorry, make sure your URL is http://www.carrieloves.com/2012/06/handwritten-free-fonts/ in order to view the links… I have a quirk in my blog.

Ooooh Jane Austen is one of my favs. I use it all the time
When I followed the link to dafont, I found that Mixtape Mike is only a free trial version which doesn’t give you all of the characters, nor does it allow you to print. Sooo, it’s not really free FYI.
I see the fonts but how do we use them, or download?
Seemed to be a problem with the link. Now, five minutes later
and it works.
