book review // Wilde’s Fire by Krystal Wade

This weekend I was in a reading dry spell, just finished something, not sure what I wanted to read next. Luckily I got a great recommendation from GoodReads, I normally don’t even open an email like this, but I had the time and I’m really glad I did. My rec was for Wilde’s Fire and not only did I read it, I also read the 2nd book in the series Wilde’s Army.

As soon as I got to “When she inadvertently leads her sister and best friend through a portal into a world she’s dreamed of for six years” I was on board – no need to go any further, I was hooked – just my kind of read.

And, on Tuesday morning I tweeted the author to let her know how pleased I was with the book, usually I don’t hear back from a lot of folks, but she responded and was really sweet & excited that I read her books.

How fun is that? Good experience all the way around, plus I have a new favorite author and the third book of the series which comes out in November.
