These colors are so vibrant and pretty. I love plum and mustard together. Even though this was shot in 1961 for Vogue Australia, the style transcends to 2012. And, those leather gloves… those are amazing!

Wow, those colours look amazing together, but I kinda knew already.
I cant believe the same colours were popular back in the sixties, I guess colours stay the same more or less.

Gloves are sexy, aren’t they? I call for a revival. I was in college in 1961. Every “young woman,” as we were called, owned a pair of black leather gloves for winter going to church and a white pair for summer (yes, summer!). And if your parents were well off, you owned a long pair for formal dances. We all wanted to be like Jackie.
