Nerd DIY // How to add multiple social media feeds to your site

Yesterday, over at Girl Does Geek, Faye posted about how to easily add a social feed to your theme with Tint.

I did it and I’m telling you it’s AWESOME! And FREE! Check out my new Socially page. You’ll see a standard WordPress page with feeds from both my Instagram and Twitter. You could also add a widget to your sidebar or footer if you so choose. Oh, and Bloggers… it’s also for you, too!

Tint is a simple, yet effective tool that lets anyone aggregate any social media feeds into one page and embed it anywhere they want.

You can aggregate from Facebook pages, Twitter accounts/hashtags, Instagram accounts/hashtags, Youtube channels, etc. and embed it beautifully into any website, WordPress, Tumblr, Blogger, Facebook Pages, and more!

Have you Tinted?

Directions:

  1. Create an account & register on Tint.
  2. Create a Tint.
  3. Connect with your social media networks.
  4. Customize.
  5. And, you’re done!
  6. Insert that code into a widget or a page and start enjoying your new feed.
    1. Don’t worry, they have detailed instructions on their site!

    • Hello!
Tint is PERFECT for my website, which started as a Facebook page! I will still run the both simultaneously and love the ability to have my fb feed featured on the site.
However, the facebook feed is not updating on the site.
      What’s wrong?

      • Hey Stephanie,

Tim here from Tint. So happy to hear your satisfaction with Tint and we are excited to keep making it better for you!

The Facebook feed takes 1 hour max to update. We know how important this is for you so we are constantly trying to make it quicker and quicker. There will be no work needed from your end, and we really appreciate your patience on this.

Let me know if there’s anything else I can help with and I’m here to help!

        Best,
        Tim

  2. Hi Carrlie-I love all your hints, ideas, instruction on using social media. I keep all my blogs in my in-box of items I want to read more thorough or follow-thru. My in-box has 6 of yours!!! I am trying to update my own blog using many of your helpful tutorials. I am having the hardest time with social media buttons, I want them to look different but relate to our farm but I will get it one of these days!! I really love your font suggestions, I keep adding them to my list. You are so good!! Your little bunny “Pin It” is so great, that is on my list to put on my page too. Thank you so much for all your information.
