Diamond Candles review and giveaway

Diamond Candles is a great candle company located right here in Durham, North Carolina. They have a HUGE variety of candle scents which are 100% soy, eco-friendly and natural. Not only that, but they also include a little gift for you inside of the candle – a ring – hence the name ‘Diamond’ Candles! In each candle you have the opportunity of discovering a ring that is valued between any where between $10 and $5,000.

Now, granted, most folks are going to score the $10 rings, but holy moly can you imagine getting a real diamond ring!? Wouldn’t that be something?! It’s like playing the lottery, but also getting an amazing candle to boot! Win-win.

Diamond Candles sent me a candle of my choice, I chose the Sunwashed scent – and it was heavenly! Yes, I say that in the past-tense because  it was lovely until the men in my household caught wind of ‘what could possibly be at the bottom of the candle’, and then it was lovely no more. Said men decided digging for the ring was the better option, instead of enjoying the candle. Oy.

My candle lasted 2 1/2 days & I now have this lovely canary faux diamond ring, I’m a jewelry nut – costume or real, either is fine by me – so this is just perfect.

If you’re interested in getting a candle & ring of your own, Diamond Candles has also graciously offered to give one of my readers a candle of their choice! (Just don’t tell the men in your life what the deal is!) Are you interested? Go ahead and enter the Rafflecopter giveaway below.

I stumbled across your blog on Southern Blog Society. Do they tell you you the value of the ring at the bottom of the container or do you have to get it appraised?

    LOL.

    • In their FAQ/support center they post this information about finding out the value of the ring:
You can figure your ring’s value by following these simple steps.
      1. If the ring has ’14k’ or similar information imprinted on the inside of the band than you have a ring that is worth $100+. We advise that you take it to a jeweler to get a verbal estimate to see if it is worth $100’s or $1,000’s.
      2. If the ring has ‘Thailand’ or something similar imprinted on the inside of the band it is most likely worth $100 or less.
      3. Unmarked rings are likely to be toward the $10 range but could be valued up to $100.
      4. Still not quite certain? Upload a picture of your ring to our Facebook page. Our active Diamond Candles community has become very skilled at telling if it is a $10 level ring or a $100+ level ring.
